Home sweet home -- after 16+ years of operating from privately owned horse farms, Reins of Life moved to our forever home and renovated barn in Landenberg, Pennsylvania in December 2009, on the property of John Hendrickson and Judy Freedman.
The move and renovations were made possible by donations of funds and building materials from caring individuals and businesses. On behalf of Reins of Life and our very special equestrians we are sincerely grateful to the following donors:
The generosity of these companies will have a lasting positive impact on the young riders’ lives as their association with the horses inspires new found confidence and independence. We would also like to thank the many volunteers who contributed their time and energy for your dedication in helping to make for a smooth transition, and for your kindest support. You are the very best of the best!

Open House Reins of Life 's original date for it's open house on May 15th is postponed due to the riding arena under constructoin . A new date will be posted and announced as soon as possible. The open house will showcase the renovated barn and invite the community to its new home in honor of those who made it possible. Families of children with special needs are invited to come find out what therapeutic riding is all about and those interested in volunteering are encouraged to come to meet the staff and horses. It will be an opportunity to learn about the Reins of Life program and how it touches the lives of all involved.

"Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania”
Karen Brenner specializes in painting beautiful moments in the lives of horses. Her most current series, "Beautiful Horses of Pennsylvania”, included Chrissy a Haflinger mare who is one of the wonderful horses at Reins of Life. Chrissy is such a sweetheart! When we visited, she came right up to welcome us, and then posed, prettier than a picture, for photos. What a doll baby! I'm sure she is a favorite with all the students at Rein of Life.
