Looking for a Unique Volunteer Opportunity?

Reins of Life is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist children and young adults during their riding therapy.  Riders range in age from 2-25, with varied disabilities.

Volunteers are needed to assist in these ways:

• Assisting Instructor during therapeutic riding session
• Leading the horse
• Side Aiding (walk alongside horse to offer rider support)
• Grooming Horses
• Tacking horses
• Cleaning tack
• Helping with special events; horse shows, presentations

We need volunteers for these specific class times:

• Thursdays: 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm & 6:30 pm
• Sundays: 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm & 4:00 pm

Volunteer Training Sessions:

Training takes place at South 40 Farm, Coatesville, PA. Next Volunteer Training is Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Judy Freedman at 610-274-3300 or reinsoflife@verizon.net.
